Runner-up bigfatfish spent most of the evening & through to the early hours of this morning playing £10 & £20 Turbo DYM's, finishing with a right rattle by winning 7 of the last 8.

AFFMAHEED, 6th in this the previous night, was 3rd this time. Earlier yesterday he was 2nd in a £300 BH for around £50 too.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£854)

Menace78 is an occasional single-tabler, usually 7 @ 7. He won it last August, & again last night, & earlier this month finished 3rd.

2nd was yobbie, who followed up with a deep run in the 8pm £400 BH.

In 6th was edrich, & for an encore, he then played 4 x £5 DYM's, winning all 4. Older readers who are cricketing fans ( @MattBates & @Shrimpy28 ?) may well remember the wonderful cricketer Bill Edrich, who was famed for all sorts of reasons, including one of the best batsmen ever to play for England. By way of balance, worth noting that Wiki also described Bill Edrich as a "convivial man who married 5 times". Interesting use of "convivial", that, but it does perhaps help explain why there were so many of them in cricket. Somewhere tucked away at the back of one of my bookcases I have his biography, which I recall being a splendid read.

    £1,000 Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,215)

A solid session for Mr Bates, notching up a nice double by winning the Rebuy BH & MidEx. Even better, he prevented Nasty NOSTRI from winning the Rebuy, which I'm sure prompted much rejoicing.

    £500 Bounty Hunter (£515)

Technically, a double on the day for THETANK, as he won MidEx earlier in the day. If we still did Player of the Day THETANK would be a Challenger.

The minor podiumates were mildsteal & spearsy.

5th was jungleman, who we saw on the Forum this morning. He had a most remarkable 3 day spell at the end of March/beginning of April, winning the 5.30pm £300 BH twice & a £500 Mega Stack. Perhaps it is the real jungleman after all?

    £5,000 Predator Bounty Hunter (£5,000)

Predator Main winner MaoiChinn is a rare visitor, only returning last week after a 4 month absence, & when he plays it's always to single table the Main - nothing else. Anyone care to guess what that Alias represents? I'm going to guess it is named after a racehorse, Maoi Chinn, which famously won a race at Wetherby in 2010 at the staggering odds of 200/1.

Quite a star-studded FT, with watch salesman kimpet the runner-up, Mr Arrogant 3rd & Mr Argumentative 4th.

In 5th was the much-missed PBKR, of whom we see much less these days thanks to his selfish decision to put family before poker.

In 6th was Swog, who won back-to-back Turbos this time last month but has won nothing of note since. He so nearly made headlines last night though, 6th in the Main & 7th in the Mini, so very close to the FTJ. Epic scenes would have ensued. Incidentally, this morning I chanced upon a thread Swog started 10 long years ago. Nothing much seems to have changed.

    £1,500 Mini Predator (£1,535)

It has taken BAILLIE111 some 11 years to play just 186 MTT's during which he rarely troubled the judges, but it's all changed this month, as he won the Rebuy BH on the 5th & now the Mini, completely transforming his Sharky graph. Might be the only player on Sky Poker to have a bridge named after him.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,080)

Mega fell to Pottski, who won a Sharpshooter Mini last year, with the runner-up berth going to HONEYBUSH which sounds a little rude but is in fact an exotic type of tea.

3rd was Lord Cod, who later in the evening was 2nd in Quickdraw.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,749)

Deczzo, of whom I know nothing, took Reload.

After a thin night on Tuesday, aynaricol only played a small schedule, but 4th here for £100 as well as 3rd in a midday Timed Tourney ensured a healthy profit.

    £1,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,000)

The turnaround in results by PAPABURG in the last month is nothing short of sensational. After a fairly anonymous 12 months, he's gone on a win spree, & in 4 weeks has won a Main, Turbo, Mega, 7 @ 7, and three £500 BH's. Hard to comprehend how a player can suddenly improve so dramatically. And by way of a bonus, he prevented a Nasty NOSTRI win, as Mr Bates also did earlier.

    In 6th was edrich, & for an encore, he then played 4 x £5 DYM's, winning all 4. Older readers who are cricketing fans ( @MattBates & @Shrimpy28 ?) may well remember the wonderful cricketer Bill Edrich, who was famed for all sorts of reasons, including one of the best batsmen ever to play for England. The whole family were decent cricketers as it happens, & Wiki tells us;

    Now now...

Very good to watch. Or so I'm told...

Incidentally, in 1947, he scored over 3,500 runs in the English season, 2nd only to the great Denis Compton, so often his batting partner, neither of which have ever been beaten.
