Very much a standard evening for tonyp - 1st in 7 @ 7 (£227), 3rd in the £6k BH (£414), 9th in the Major (£260), 1st in a £750 BH (£150) & 6th in Turbo (£90). It's impossible for many of us - certainly me - to imagine being that good at poker. I'd play every hour God sends if I was half that good. Sadly, I never attained such heights, I was more of a plodder, like 4th placed Shrimpy. I eagerly await the result of last week's MML, in which he stands on the very threshold of greatness. Even he can't lose it this week, surely?

Natnug took this, for his best result since winning Summit early last month. Class act for sure, he's won Sheriff no less than 4 times since mid February, including a stunning sequence of 3 wins in 6 nights.
Runner-up is one of the most improved players on the site in JACKDAW, & I'm pretty sure he would not have played this unless he got in via a satellite. Very much a player to keep an eye on.

Regular readers will know that AlexaAJ wins MTT's for fun but this was his best ever result as far as I can see. Has been a bit unlucky in £100 events previously - 4th & 3rd in the Major, three times a runner-up in BWBH, & 4th in a Summit, so I'd say this result was overdue & thoroughly deserved.
In 3rd was FlynTimber who has been at the top of his form in April, winning a Sharpshooter Main, & twice a runner-up in BWBH. Only tends to play 1 or 2 games a night, - just this one last night - so those results are all the more impressive.

We are all much more familiar with the runner-up, Mr Bates. Sadly, I've not seen him play any satellites for SPT Vegas so far, so maybe he is swerving it this year. He's a previous Vegas qualifier on several occasions, & has had a few results in the infamous Rio Daily Deepstacks, including finishing 8th on consecutive days, although one was the $185 version, the other the $135 one.
