    Never even thought about it.
    I worked with a fella once that was very keen on squashing a meat pie into a baguette.
    When I worked for Coral Bingo in Coventry, the top selling item on the buffet was a **** and pea bap.

    Had a similar thing once although unlikely to have it again. Was more to do with the fact it was too messy than not tasting nice.

    Cannae whack a Glesga roll and mince with carrots through it topped with broon sauce or a roll and mince pie with broon sauce, good Scottish fare.

    Cottage pie butties, Pot Noodle sarnies and mash and beans on a bap, all scran I've scoffed whilst up a mountain and wanting the calories .

    Nothing wrong with mince on toast as long as you don't butter it, although why go to the trouble of toasting the base layer.
