Last night I was playing various games ( as per normal on my 3 or 4 nights on sky poker)
I was berated by a certain individual in the mini who I shan’t name, apparently my play wasn’t up to their lofty standards.
Soon after I was knocked out whilst calling off my quarter of a bb with 6 3 os.

Later in the evening I won a £5 bounty Hunter, and withdrew £100 from my account, ( bringing my total withdrawal this month to £650)

The things he said didn’t bother me, but just to reinforce my belief in my poker ability I checked my deposit/withdrawal totals from the start of playing here.

Total deposit = £0
Total Withdrawals = £20,250

It’s not a fortune over the years I have been here, but it’s paid for some nice gifts for the family, and has fortified my strength of mind/character in not p…sing it up the wall.

So there 😊

Very few, if any of the really good players, ever resort to this.
If you look them up on SharkScope, you usually find that their rating proves that they arent qualified to be doling out advice to anyone.

£20,000 is serious money Tom. I've no idea who was shooting his mouth, but it's a good bet he can't match that.

Great post @tomgoodun. Like others have said those that throw personal insults are rarely top players, although there are a few exceptions I'm sure.
Did you start with freerolls as I noticed you didn't make any initial deposit, if so that's very impressive, even if you did make a deposit I'll wager it was nowhere near £20K!
It's also great that you use it for good, treating your family etc and not spending it on any vices. Long may that continue.
Finally, and off on a bit of a tangent, did you check this via your own personal records (not on Sky) or via the Sky 'my account' section? I can't find any way of getting such information on Sky, I even tried the profit and loss section via 'view all our tools' and that shows no data at all, over any period, nothing, and I'm pretty sure I've play a bit on Sky over the years!

    Hi Paul

When I first joined sky poker there was a £10 in tokens promotion for joining, I was lucky enough to win the £2 deep stack at 7:15, which for obvious reasons still remains one of my fav tournaments. I haven’t deposited.

I checked on my iPad , and just now on my phone , I’ll try and make a note of the steps , bear with me.

When you click on My Account does it take you to a new window? They are apparently switching users to a new 'my account' and mine has been switched, it opens in a new window and it's pants!

I don't get 'Account History' any more I get 'Gaming History' or 'Banking History', neither of which give me an option to search Banking Transactions, or even get a summary of recent play, can't search cash tables, STTs, MTTs etc. a huge step backwards IMO. I am waiting for it to get rolled out to others as I'm pretty sure I won't be the only one that doesn't like it.

I may have the old version, it doesn’t open a new ( additional) window , it gives options on banking etc .

Mine got changed too, its awful.

I usually review my HH in this section, now its not possible, the facility has been taken away.

Sky HH section was never brilliant, now its more restricted.

    PS.

    Nice one Tom.

Yea, I don't get any of that now. Given the recent changes to the regulations you would think they would have to give you access to more information not less.

Anyway, apologies for the thread derail!

Tbh I’ve found it difficult to find the withdraw option lately, that may be my old age forgetting where to look tbh.
Is it “easy “ enough on the new one?

Is it “easy “ enough on the new one?

    Yes, its 1 step easier.

The issue is the Tournament histories have been taken away.

I've just done this Tom to say i am surprised would be an understatement
So from when i started on sky poker in feb 2008 i've deposited £1355 and i've withdraw £5875 so £4520 profit , my sports betting is minute and mostly losses on that front so it's all poker profit , not bad for a hobby :)

That’s great Sean, well done mate.
You’re always a tricky opponent in the tournaments we play together.
