Won my first MTT!

Played my first ever PLO tournament tonight and after comfortably doubling up after about 10 minutes with Quad 4s I pretty much lead the tournament until the final table. 

Then it all went disasterously wrong.  With only the final 3 cashing I decided it was time for some aggression around the bubble, unfortunately every time it was badly placed and I doubled up 2 or 3 players!  I think within about 5 minutes of the final table I was short stack with about 5 bb! 

Managed to fight back and get heads up with SHY-BOY where it seemed I had them on the rocks and all in only for SHY-BOY to 5natch the chips from under my nose!  Was a great heads up battle which I managed to win in the end.

2 hours well spent.  And as the title says, my first MTT win, hurrah!

    Nice result Machka!! - Shame its come in THAT  GAME but a wins a win !! :)

    Maybe I ave it wrong and u mean its ur first PLO win and u have hundreds of NLHE wins under your belt? 

    If so I apologise - but VWD all the same....


    On a side note....who is shy boy? does he ever speak at the tables? I cant search for him on find a player, I cant find him on sharkscope, hes just a bloke whos in every single tournament.....

    i went deep in mtt again, always get to last 20ish when i cash, then make some stupid call lol oh well, ive won a couple smallish mtt's for like £120 but cant seem to win the biggy, got 2nd a while back but :(

    Unfortunately you DIDN'T misunderstand.  This is my first MTT win ever on Sky Poker, but as you say a wins a win.

    I've seen SHY-BOY about a lot too and was pretty worried that I'd get out played by him.  Luckily the cards fell in my favour tonight.

    I know how you feel as I also won my first MTT a couple of weeks ago, a BH and I picked up £373.
    What a buzz.....took me a couple of hours to calm down lol.

    Very well done mate and I'm sure it will be the first of many.

    Good luck at the tables (except when you're playing against me lol)
