The quiet town of Luton no doubt has its own unique charms. But plane passengers could be forgiven for being less than thrilled when they spotted a 'Welcome to Luton' sign upon landing - not least because the 60-metre greeting has been installed on the approach to Gatwick in West Sussex, a mere 60 miles south of Luton airport.
