@Tikay10 I asked you before on a different thread about buying in on the day and you mentioned I should get there in plenty of time to get a seat and avoid going on a waiting list. I am presuming that using this direct buy-in option in the lobby guarantees me my seat and I can arrive at 5 to 2 and take my seat just as play is about to commence. Is this correct?

Hi Greg,

No, that's not correct Greg.

You still need to register at the Casino Tournament desk - only when have done that will you be allocated a seat & your chips. Your name will be on the list, all you need to do is go to the desk & register. If you do not arrive until, say, 1.55 (5 minutes pre scheduled start time) you MAY have to go on an Alternates List. Not saying you will, but it's certainly possible. I would suggest arriving a little earlier, say 1.15 - 1.30 ish.

Thanks for replying so promptly at this ridiculous time of day Tikay. I will make sure I am there before 1330 if this is the case.

Is any form of identification required to prove i am gregkdy82 when I register at the casino? I'm not at home atm and already in the City of Glasgow so this would be problematic.

I done this yesterday Greg. They have a list of names from those pre-regged through sky. You just tell them you’re full name at the poker desk and that you registered through sky.

If you’re not a member of the casino brand you’ll need to sign up for that too which will require ID. Takes 2 minutes though.
