One particularly pathetic part of this story was this.

The Government stated that there were particular problems in and around Harlow. Due in large part to the considerable population increase in the catchment area.

And that they have the solution. It is planned that a new hospital will be built. And that that might be built (if all goes well) as early as 2028...

When I was in the hospital, I was in the A & E overnight, the next day they had no beds in the wards, I was put in the hallway from 10 am till about 6 pm, there was me, a lady with an oxygen bottle and an old guy, there must have been hundreds of people walkin by us it was like being in the zoo people just staring at you, it was ridiculous.
