If you can put up with not having SKY for 7 - 14 days, you will get offered a quite a bit better deal on that big a SKY package.

Tell them you can't afford what you're paying :'( (cough) and cancel it. The retention's team will e-mail you, but I've always found you get a better deal when they ring you a week or so after it's finished

Have a look on MSE (Martin Lewis) and U-Switch comparison sites for broadband deals

    GOOD LUCK :)

I got SKY TV and Premium NETFLIX (4 devices that my daughter was paying £16 per month for) for £25

Talk Talk Superfast fibre Broadband (18month contract) for £20 per month and a £90 Amazon Gift Card.....so equivalent to £15 per month

EDIT: I don't need anytime talk on landline 'coz I've got unlimited mins on my mobile, and you won't get Scammers ringing from Nigeria on the landline :s

SKY Glass is the NEW package without a dish thru the internet, but don't think they're doing any deals yet

Do you buy security on top of your broadband?
I never use the landline, but Mrs Hayes does.

By far the best value for money on Sky is the £11 per month for the Sky Q Multiscreen.
Worth every penny to banish all Soaps to the other room.
I would gladly pay double if I had to.

On how many devices is that for NETFLIX .....usually just one at a time for £6 extra...... which is no good for a house full of Girls :s

Hasn't Mrs Hayes got a mobile? .....even a HAYSIE cast-off one that you can put a new sim in?

Plusnet were doing a sim (12month contract) with 12G data and unlimited mins and texts for £7 per month, and you get a £25 gift card, so equivalent to just under £5 per month

.....gotta look after the penniz :)

In my house we just watch telly on TVs.
If I suggested to Mrs Hayes that she was going to watch her soaps on some old phone, I would be looking for a lift to, and a long wait in A&E.
I therefore dont need access on any devices.
Although I do have access via my laptop, but never use it.

When I woke up this morning, my Sky had gone up to £69.50, and £72 from next month.
MY Now TV broadband had gone up to £26, and £32 from next month.
This was despite the fact that I took out a 12 month contract last August which was fixeed at £22.
The broadband was still £22, but the calls were going up to a tenner.
So I phoned Sky, and they said the deals that I had, had run out.
So I did the above deal, and got what I wanted for £76, rather than £104.
    So I was happy.
I could have got it for £57, without free landline calls, and no Sky Cinema.
This is something I may contemplate in the future.
I prefer to watch telly on a reasonable size screen, rather than an old phone.
I am not necessarily determined to screw them for every penny, I would just prefer not being ripped off.
Sky Broadband comes with free security, the cheap deals usually dont.
By the time you add security to a cheap deal, it is not necessarily that cheap.
Particularly if you have a few devices.
I would prefer free security to f..k.n gift cards.

TV's are devices ........ though they are a bit difficult to carry around with you :)

Can you watch NETFLIX in the 2 seperate rooms at the same time?.... was what I meant

My Dad has SKY Cinema ........ and I can get it from his subscription for free, but I've only ever watched one film on it. Though I do use his Sports subscription to watch the Golf and American Footy Live :)

I wasn't suggesting Mrs Hayes watches TV on her mobile...... I meant for calls. There's defo no need to have a landline and pay for calls nowadays, when you can get unlimited calls on your mobile. Even my Dad has just got rid of his landline and got a mobile, saving himself around £20 per month.

    Yes.
That would be the point of the multiscreen.

    She has a mobile.
Most of her friends phone on the landline.
May look at taking it out at some point in the future.
Not that bothered over a tenner.

You have said previously that the rest of your family watch on ipads etc.
    I rarely watch Sky Cinema.
Having said that I did watch the Gerard Butler film that arrived yesterday.
Ive now got the calls and Cinema for 18 months.
I will have a think before I renew the contract.

Probably 3 months free then look out for the extra cost. Sky don't miss a trick.
