Absolutely banging performance this time around, with Ore Oduba as Brad, meaning that for the first time and long overdue Brad was played by a person of colour.

The show also changed subtly in that the narration done this year by Phillip Franks of Heartbeat and Darling Buds of May fame, was altered slightly but did not detract from the performance.

The audience as ever got totally immersed shouting ad libs at almost every line and Franks rode with this with brilliant one liners and retorts. I was worried that after Stephen Punts fantastic narration last year this may be a weak point. Like I needed to worry. Franks was just as good, different but good.

The cast was strong, the band great and two hours flew by in a whirlwind of brilliance.

Frankie fans were out in force and the show did not disappoint.

Not sure how much longer the tour is but it's well worth checking out if it's in your area.

Haven't seen it for about 30 years.
