£1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,000)
elvisg was the opening act last night when taking the £1k BH. Has quite an impressive back catalogue, having won 3 or 4 Minis, at least 6 MidEx's & a Reload or two.

RobRenzi took 7 @ 7, and he's another who had a decent record, wins this year include Mega (twice), MidEx, and best of all, a Mini Avenger.I really don't want to embarrass the fella, but look who was 2nd...

On a night when Team Big Boy did well (cabbaz, Crushy, Jessieak etc) it was good to see that there's still room for the little guys to do a win, so I'm genuinely pleased for Lord Nostri. In fact, remarkable as it may seem, it was the third time this year he has won this, which may be a record. Is it naïve to think he might one day win a Main?

£4,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£4,600)
A fairly predictable FT for BWBH, with Crushy surprising nobody by taking the win.
I was a little surprised to see MasherMan in 2nd, especially as he only played 2 games last night, this & MidEx. It's been a while, but he does actually have some form in the book, having won a Sheriff & made the FT of a Summit, in both cases around 2 years ago.

£6,000 Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£6,480)
Only Natnug has won more money than cabbaz in Sky Poker MTT's this year, but the latter is a fine 2nd & narrowed the gap last night, though he still has a way to go to overhaul the leader. He's in great form though, finishing May by winning the Sunday Major & 2nd in Summit, and June has continued in similar vein, as this was his 2nd Main Event win this month. Was 6th in last night's BWBH too.

£4,000 Mini Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£4,000)
Two notable points to take away from last night's Mini.
Firstly, great to see Limp2Lose back, with the exception of a single game in April, he's been absent the Sky Poker MTT streets for just over a year. What a way to return too, well done Gary, Dad will be super proud.
The other notable is NOSTRI, who ran 3rd, having earlier won the £k Rebuy BH. He's not normally allowed to play poker on a Friday night as Lady NOSTRI does not approve of him enjoying himself, but with a pass for the evening he certainly made it pay.

Yes, it is so good to see him back and doing well.
As those of you that know Gary, are probably aware, it's been a tough year, hence his absence.
However, he's a very strong character, and it's great to see that he appears to have retained some Poker ability, after such a long "layoff"
I'd imaging he'll be dipping in and out, playing a bit now and then, for a while, rather than a getting back to a full weekly schedule.
I am, indeed, very proud of him, not just for his Poker prowess, but, for his strength of character, and his caring nature. I know I am biased, but he's one of the bravest people I know.
