league table gr8 idea

think the hoggs idea about ds league tble sounds gr8 , think we could do it on mickjenns, tk sleepstack and the 500 grted torn,,this would give us all the bragging rights as long as tk dosnt top the league, post ur names plyers here so we can get this up and running..b lukkky

    Deffo want to do this!!!! But as iv said to greg, then i feel all results from day1 of the £20 deepstack should be counted.. People like myself, SoLack and Greghogg who have had a good run in it so far will have nothing to show for it. Is it fair that my 3 wins, SoLacks 2 wins and Gregs 4 consecutive final tables should not be counted?... so we would need skys help with that

    ok charlie i agree but think if we do a league m8 it has to be a level start for all.

    League tables are very difficult to make work imo.
    Think the best way to do it here would be to run it for a four-month period, Aug-Dec, and only include players that want to be included.
    Work out a scoring system and divide the total score by no.of tourneys played.
    I run something similar for me local casino.

    But on the flipside to this, you also need to have a minimum % of games played... (ok this could all get a bit confusing) but for ppl like myself, greg and others who plays most nights, whats to stop someone coming in and playing once winning it and not playing again, then no1 can beat em... think you should of played say 30% or is that too high? 25%?? thats only bout twice a week....

    Would have thought a minimum of 50 tournaments over the four months would be a sensible figure.
    Perhaps someone at Sky can put up a prize? A burgundy blazer maybe?
    Reckon you'd only get the hardcore players entering it, which is what you want. Be a pain in the aahs to keep track of if you have more than 50 players, so perhaps cap entry at that?
    I would have points just for final table appearances, say 2, 4, 7, 11, 15, 20 for the top six spots.
