England's Women at Euros

Thought the 1st game was dull. Whereas the 2nd was marvellous.

Bit of an Arsenal lovefest in the Studio Team-the Arsenal legends that are Ian Wright and Alex Scott, plus the current Arsenal Women's Manager.

Speaking as a diehard Spurs fan, I want to say this. I love watching Ian Wright. His passion for the game is infectious, and he is so much better than most of his rivals. I also think that too many women have been shoe-horned into programmes, causing a temporary drop in quality (same if a load of 35-40 yr-old men were all put in). But Alex Scott is superb.

Just 1 point. When 3 Arsenal sportsmen were drooling over the great goal from Arsenal & England's Mead. You know the 1-jinking run, lovely swerve, great goal. The bit where they said they'd never seen the like.

Yes, you have. Ricky Villa. Cup Final Replay. :)

Agree as to Alex Scott, she's first class, & unlike many of the female commentators, she's more than good enough to displace male commentators in men's football. She's certainly not the normal "token female" that TV companies seem obliged to foist upon us.

Male or female is irrelevant, we want the best commentators & pundits, & she certainly qualifies.
