Gary Lineker makes the job look simple. But it is not. And, if money were his prime objective, he could undoubtedly earn rather more at BT Sport. But he chose not to.
Modern society seems to have a problem with people who do well for themselves & earn big bucks. Why is that? Jealousy? Bitterness? I really have no idea.
Whether you like Lineker or not, he does his job supremely well, & market forces suggest his salary is justified. That's how the commercial world works.
