Just watched this 3 part series on Sky Documentaries, it tells a fascinating true story of a mans life that at times seems unbelievable. It involves Smuggling Drugs,Arms dealing,Reagan,The CIA,Pablo Escobar & The Iran-Contra Affair amongst other issues. Very good series and well worth a watch.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyiOlwMvjqsThe Invisible Pilot, a three-part documentary series by Emmy-winning filmmakers Phil Lott and Ari Mark, is a tale of a charismatic, daredevil husband and father who unexpectedly jumped off a bridge in 1977, despite a seemingly happy home life and a lucrative career as a pilot. His small-town Arkansas community searches for his body in vain while family and friends seek answers. Years later, a mysterious story emerges involving hypnosis, secret identities and a double life of dangerous missions and law-breaking. And that’s just the beginning.
From Adam McKay (HBO’s Winning Time, Succession and Q: Into The Storm) comes a labyrinthine story that begins in Hazen, Arkansas and ends up as part of one of the biggest political scandals of our time.

He earned a fortune.
It seems strange that someone so clever and street wise would have attempted to negotiate a reduction in their jail sentence after testifying rather than before.
A schoolboy error.
He claimed that he had over $30million in the bank when he got busted.
A cleverer person may have already stashed a bit of it for a rainy day.
This may have avoided him being potless today.
One of his wives also came across as being really clever without providing any evidence or proof.
His family seem to blame him for all their ills.
His sons current living conditions are pitiful.
