Afternoon. Just a semi-lite thread today, I'm feeling unusually lethargic at the moment. Maybe a Las Vegas hangover, maybe the oppressive weather, maybe just pathetic excuses (NAP).
It really is a surprise how well the numbers have held up so far this summer, and once again numbers were solid across the board last night, only MidEx missed. Very strange times for Online Poker in the UK right now, it's hard to know what to think.
I'll comment on a few MTT's, but not all of them by any means.

The ubiquitous Alexa took the £5k BH getting home after beating the excellent skyflyer heads up.
NOSTRI made 3 FT's in a lengthy session, the best of which by far was when he donned his Big Boy Pants in this & finished a very fine 5th. Recent results have included winning the 19.10 Rebuy BH 3 times, plus wins in a Main, Reload, 7 @ 7 & a whole variety of bits & bobs. Seems to be on the upgrade & if Sharky is to be believed he is only 1 spot inferior to @Swog now.

Rather interestingly (if you are a nerd), iPHAILZ returned to Sky Poker MTT's after an unbroken absence of 8 years & 5 months & managed to bag a won on his first night back.
In 2nd was @Duesenberg who has been dominating the early evening small stakes MTT in the last week, & in fact won MML. He's an unusual individual in that he's clearly 'rolled & capable of doing well in far bigger buy-ins but largely prefers to to cast his net in shallow waters. I'd say that was a very good thing indeed, but to be fair I've been President of Team Nit for 15 years so I would say that.

Well this is interesting on several levels as On & On & On @HAYSIE wins the Major yet again. I cba to filter zillions of MTT's to check, but how many players - if any - have won more Majors than @HAYSIE? Can't be many, surely. He is a real PITA to share a table with as he's both sticky & unorthodox. And remember, "unorthodox" means Team Pro give him a ton of stick - anyone who plays "different" always gets dog's abuse for some inexplicable reason. Try raising, say, 4X every now & then & see how much stick you get. And yet I was always a firm believer that unorthodox is good, doing the unexpected throws the zombies all out of kilter. Well done Tony.
Some sympathy for runner-up Swog. Since late December he's now run 4th, 4th & 2nd in the Major, & I believe last night was his best ever score on Sky Poker. Just his luck to run into a player that Sharky rates 4 points better. Swoggy promised big things for 2022 & might yet deliver. One hopes so.
Also worth noting that @HAYSIE has been playing poker for 50 years or more, whereas the Swogster only began in around June 2020 if my memory has not failed me again.
