    Quick shoutout to @Doooobs who is having a terrific weekend so far. 2nd in Friday's BWBH for ~£900, won last night's Main for ~£1,200, & knowing him, probably backed Pyledriver to win the King George. Just got to win tonight's Major to complete a tidy weekend now. Sadly, our dates crossed so I was not able to hook up with David in Vegas this year, but as usual he did very well. Two cashes - think they were the only two he played - finishing 21st in the $1,100 PLO8 @ Venetian for $3,174, & 43rd in the $1,500 WSOP PLO8 for $6,115. That was his 6th WSOP cash, 4 of which were for various Omaha variants.

    2nd was Danny @Itsover4u , so a high class 1-2, though the form was let down by @HAYSIE in 4th.

    Thanks Tikay. Most welcome results too. Got a bit lucky with Jacks twice last night. Really early, might have been level 1, I had aces, and someome min 3 bet and min 5 bet me. I assumed he probably had aces too, but thought it could be kings, but it was jacks?? Then late on just after I took the lead, my fellow big stack open shoved something like 40/50 BBs when I had queens. The amount of times I have been in similar spots and lost to AK made me think it may be a fold, but sigh shoved and hit jacks again. Should have won with that big stack, but Danny gave me a good battle and ended up having to win a big flip late. I think the night before I had shoved tens into jacks heads up too, though that didn't work out so well.

    How did you know I backed Pyledriver? Just seemed a bit obvious though. The 3 year olds both had flakey form, Mishriff is a bit up amd down and don't think Broome is good enough. Could really have got the forecast. Broke two rules though. Bet smaller when it was a big price. Realised my error and went back, but then didn't back it as it had shortened in price (though likely still value). Was still a great day overall.

    Think you have overplayed my trip to Vegas. Did 500 in a Sat to the Wynn main, did 2x the collusus and broke even in the 1500 super turbo bounty (3 bounties). Also did 2 buyins at the PLO8 WSOP, I owe you some money! To be fair I did get Covid and it must have wrecked my memory.

    @Doooobs

    How did I know you backed Pyledriver? I was not aftertiming, & I never knew, but I do know the way you think & as soon as I saw the result I thought you were probably on it. You never seem to be scared of backing stuff at big prices. I recall, years ago, (2012 or similar?) you put me on Chelsea to beat Barcelona at a big price. Plenty of nice priced horses over the years too.

    Seems like COVID messed with my memory too, I'd quite forgotten the other games you played in Vegas this year. Such a shame we could not hook up this time round.

    I assumed I must have mentioned Pyledriver before somewhere. He seems to be frequently underated because of his lousy breeding. Even now, people are talking as if it was a freak even though Broome and the German horse seemed to run at their level and Mishriff missed the break, but would probably have lost anyway. The Oaks doesn't look like it was a good race, and even if Westover lost his mind, he hadn't beaten much, even if impressive last time. Despite this, Desert Crown is still likely to be a very good horse in my view, just wish Eydon was around.

    Anyway, money sent now.
