Probably a misclick from @hogan02, and he meant to make it 320 chips and not 3120 :o

....... but it depends on the situation, type of Tournament, stage of the Tourney etc.

...... ideally need a lot more info and hopefully a good player will advise you better. I'm sure in some circumstances it is the right play, but at other times it isn't :/

Could do with knowing details regarding the tourney although from the blind sizes it appears to be early stages of whatever although stack sizes suggest level 4 of a deepstack.

Once he has made the raise whether intentional or not in the sizing, then he is committed to calling for the rest of his chips, even more so if its a bounty hunter.

Also have to ask if you think with a raise of that size you might already have been beaten ? It screams A A or K K. Possibly worth letting it go for 120 chips.

Against this particular villain I'm more than happy to be all in with JJ, especially if it's a bounty hunter and we cover them.

Could well have been a typo bet size, but you'll see all sorts of ridiculous raise sizings at micro stakes so could well have been intentional.

Regardless, we ended up flipping so nothing to doubt yourself about. If you don't win your flips, you won't win tournaments. Just didn't go your way on this occasion.

If they had raised normally and you'd had the chance to 3 bet, gotta ask yourself if you'd have called a four bet jam? if the answer's yes then the sizing doesn't matter. also it's a lot easier to go over the top of a raise like this as they're usually typo's vs a 4bet which is usually an indicator of hand strength(esp at lower levels)
