Director of Ofgem QUITS saying the energy regulator isn't doing enough to 'protect struggling households' and has not 'struck the right balance' between consumers and suppliers
The Government has been accused of being 'asleep at the wheel' after Ofgem director Christine Farnish quit over concerns that the regulator is failing to effectively protect struggling households.
Was chatting to my brother-in law yesterday. He runs an IT company and has recently hired a chap to help with the accounts. This chap worked for Shell previously. His sole job there was to go through all DD customer accounts and transfer any credit to another Shell account.
Today's Price Cap announcement confirmed a rise of 80% but that's not the end of it. A further rise is due in January of 52% then another rise in April of 23%. Look at the table below to see that over the course of a year bills have gone from £1277 per year to a predicted £6616 next April. It hits home when you see it printed in black and white exactly how much it's gonna cost people.
Here's a handy tool to roughly see what you'll be paying after today's 80% rise.
the thing is it does not end here. Lets say hypothetically that tomorrow Russia comes out and says they were wrong to Invade Ukraine they fully apologize pull out and this trade war ends.
This wont happen I dont need people to point that out just a hypothetical.
Then will energy prices go back down? either right away or in 2 years time even? no they absolutely will not this is permanent.
The government may or may not offer help in the short term but in the long term absolutely not. many people can no longer support themselves on a 40 hour work week so now what a 60 hour work week an 80 hour work week?
I am not one to advocate conspiracy theories but I am starting to believe the great reset may be true.

I often read your posts and wonder. I wonder if there was a point and I missed it.
