A forum member comes up with a competition idea, gets some support for it from some of the other forum members and the site throw some tourney entries in as prizes.
I was looking at the forum and noticed how many comps run that offer these entries. Considering the size of the player pool, I feel that this is probably the best site for this.
Sometimes we are quick to moan but for me it's still a great place to play, lose and have a good time.
