Both of Friday's domestic matches have been cancelled, all horse racing off too.

No decision yet on Saturday & Sunday.

I think in respect they should cancel the whole weekend sporting action.

Maybe I'm just a horrible person, but why? I found todays news very sad indeed but why stop the sporting events?

I think the SPT still goes ahead btw.

I have read all of the flowery-worded tributes by politicians & world leaders, some of them are excellent, all of them crafted by speech-writers of course.

The best tribute I have yet to see was the minutes silence before last night's Manchester United home game v Real Sociedad. 60,000 (or however many it was) stood in complete silence for a minute, it was the best-observed minutes silence I've ever seen or heard & was very moving.

Do that before every game this weekend & it would mean more than a million of those tributes from politicians.
