Can you volunteer to testify in someone's defence or do you have to be invited to?
So, I am still getting phone calls from senior American living, I read somewhere a while back that some random dude in America shot some chef dead because the eggs, he ordered for breakfast were allegedly not cooked right. That happened some time ago, not recently but remember reading this one.
So, when some annoying ***** are ringing people five times plus per day even when they have been told I am not a senior citizen and I am not an American, then block their number multiple times so they call me from multiple different numbers.
Right, you think some American won't get **** off enough to storm their call centre and gun them all down. I mean obviously that would not be me I have temper control and also don't live in America and do not have access to guns.
So that is me out on three counts, but when they phone me, it disconnects anyone else I am speaking to for some reason, and I was having issues with My course registration, and was worried it may cause issues. I spent 40 mins waiting on hold only to be disconnected by these wan**** and facing having to phone back up and be on hold again. So, I answered the phone call and suffice and let the American call centre know what I thought of them. Basically, like Malcom Tucker on Cocaine.
So basically, when some American loses their temper from all this and storms their call centre shooting it up, I want to take the stand and testify in his defence saying he faced extreme provocation.
Its looking like I will have to change my phone number, but my girlfriend thinks if I did this they have won somehow. I don't get how but basically; she memorised my phone number and does not want me to change it now. Well, she memorises everything anyway so like she will learn my new number if I change it after she has rung me three or four times and that is only if she has been lacking sleep as otherwise, she would have it down after one or two times.

I'm sure you actually could write a reasonable thriller possibly set in some near future dystopian realty against a backdrop of a wasteland existence. I'm thinking Natural Born Killers meets Dredd meets Mad Max meets Solomon Kane set in an irradiated 100 Acre Wood complete with Mutant Winnis and the flesh eating remains of girlfriends.

However, we know that faster than light particles exist, Tachyons.
With a powerful enough propulsion unit .999% of light speed would be achievable. Futuristic craft spec and some form of controlled fusion/fission combination would be required obvs.
You reach this speed and then engage a Tachyon Generator causing a Tachyon field outside of your craft but held to the craft via advanced magnetic engineering.
These immediately do what Tachyons do and accelerate away above light speed and the craft travels as a "privileged" within the field.
To slow simply reverse the process and hope the craft doesn't tear itself apart.
I don't have the astrophysical or electromagnetical qualifications to expand on the theory but hey in simple sci fi terms it sounds good.
