Morning.
I know I say it a lot, but trying to predict prize pools must be a nightmare. Last night the Main did very nicely (~£5,000), Sheriff covered with plenty to spare, & the £1,000 Quickdraw came in at £1,640. Nothing particularly odd about any of that, until you see that the £1,500 Reload, the Mr Reliable of MTT Guarantees, missed by over £100. Most peculiar.
A refreshing start to the evening, as the £1k BH (Frimley44), 7 @ 7 (tam1956) & the £1k Rebuy BH (pokerbum64) were all first time winners of Featured MTT's, and the highest Sharky rating amongst them was 57. Gotta love that.
Flintoff22 was in superb form, winning the £2.20 £400 BH & running 3rd in the Main, surely his best ever session. And for the icing on the cake, he got in the Main for £1.80 via an All In Sat & collected £470. Nice.
In the Main, 14 year Sky Poker veteran DW1414 prevailed, his 2nd Main Event win, with the first being an £8,000 BH 7 years ago.
The Mini went to blinder63, his first ever mention, though for balance has only played 120 MTT's in the last 4 years.
Chaseboy has just returned from a 3 month break, was 2nd in Wednesday's Sheriff & went one better last night for a 24 hour 1-2.
Hitman1981 only ever plays 1 MTT - Reload - & so winning last night's renewal would have been especially pleasing for a one-tabler.
Longjob has won both Quickdraw & MidEx at least 6 times each, & added another MidEx to his CV last night.
