I've haven't had ma heating on for ages, it's been quite cold the past couple of days so I've started wearing thicker socks and a hoodie indoors, I was going to buy a onesie but the wife said she would leave if ah sat aboot the hoose with one on, so am still thinkin if ah should get one.

As gas prices have increased far mor than electricity prices.
EDF posted a projection based on my likely usage, in my account.
This has now disappeared.
I am almost certain that based on my previous usage, they projected that my bill would increase by around £700.
This increase was made up of £200 on electricity, and £500 on gas.

I have just been wearing a long sleeved t-shirt rather than short sleeved, and jogging bottoms rather than shorts, when sitting around the house.
As I said in the above post EDF have said my bill is likely to increase by £700 taking into account the October increase.
Therefore around £60 per month.
I therefore assumed that the £400 from the government would cover this increase over the next 6 months.
I have obviously used quite a bit less as EDF sent me a refund of £66 which hit my bank today.

Strange that they would confuse the second article with a photo of the heater featured above, and the caption, "with this trick you can heat almost for free this Winter".
