I just saw this fascinating hand play out between a poker pro (Player A) and what I believe to be a recreational player (Player B ):-
Player B limps UTG for $800. Another player raises to $2.2K and Player A flats with AQos. Player B now 3-bets to $18K and gets called by Player A.
Flop comes as in the graphic and Player A checks his AQ. Player B bets $22K and Player A calls. Both check the turn.
Player A checks river and this is where it really gets interesting. Player B bets $63.1K and then lets Player A flip one of his cards over in return for $6K (Player A is allowed to choose which card of Player B he flips).
So now Player A has this information available to him. Are you making this call? What do you think is the other card of Player B?

@Dozza
I have no idea of the answer but that's a terrific question.
So, logically, other 1 cannot be a useless card, or a great card, like a 3. It's got to be 1 that leaves you guessing.
Only thing A is beating are 2 diamonds. Even then, if the other card is 3d or 8d B wins. Just fold.
On the assumption B doesn't know that A has air, he's a brave man if he only has 77...
But (IMO) the ideal cards for him to hold in that particular scenario are 7d8d. Either card will suggest a missed flush draw.
As it happens I have a video of the hand now. Would you like me to upload it?
Here we go then. Not sure if I've ever seen anything like this before. Quite a twist at the end...
Well done Dozza, great thread.
If Garrett chooses the 8x, I think this is still a call. The rec just seems so **** comfortable though, which makes me want to fold more.
