There are other things to consider though firstly a lot of people have asked me if a nuke was dropped on pool or if a nuke was dropped on London would we be in the blast zone or etc and how long could it be before we could come out if we survived etc radiation risk etc.
The reality is that there are many different types of nukes all of which can do varying damage depending on how they are detonated and where they are detonated whether they are detonated above ground if so, how far above or on the ground or even if they are detonated in the sea etc.
you also have the factor that we may be able to take some nukes out before they can hit their target obviously, we would not be able to stop every nuke so we would still be nuked but then this adds more randomness to which nukes might hit us and where they might hit. So in effect it is actually possible some people may actually survive the initial nuke strikes and some people may even survive the nuclear radiation so they can live to die in the nuclear winter that follows.
Of course too many random factors to know for sure.
Now Russia is determined to annex zones and have made it more than clear they will defend these zones with nukes.
The problem is if you back down to this they will annex more areas and do the same thing. and once Russia takes over all of Ukraine which they will do if we don't get directly involved (because they would just nuke Ukraine into submission) which will start the nuclear war then do you think they are done?
or do you think they will go and conquer the next country and what about the country after that and the country after that?
there are ultimately only two choices
1. the entire world becomes a slave state to Russia
2. there is no more human life on earth, and it becomes a nuclear waste land for thousands of years.
Unless aliens get involved (they won't) these are the only two options.
but how Nato will respond once Ukraine is nuked and at what point Russia will nuke Ukraine etc and when Nato will step up to Russia for the nuclear holocaust to happen is impossible to predict which is why I say sometime within the next decade or two.
I am going of logic here I am not claiming to be psychic. Putin is pure evil but those that could replace him should he die or be overthrown are potentially even worse.
if I had to guess or if there was a bookies I could place bets with to inherit winnings in an afterlife (I don't believe in an afterlife) I would bet that the first nuke will be Russia nuking Ukraine in a few months' time and that the world would cower before Russia they will likely take several countries through nuclear conquest, first and then take a few nato countries before the world stands up to them. So hopefully we got like 5-10 years left maybe even up to 20 if we are lucky.
