The opener went to @neenio who has a 42% ROI over a 20,000 sample size, so is pretty handy. Has won 6 or 7 Main events, & best result was 2nd in a "Summer Roller" in 2014 for £3,500. However, as far as I can tell, this was his first ever UKOPS victory. He was also 5th in UKOPS 07, & so finds himself top of the UKOPS Leaderboard this morning.

2nd was @Hod4k997 who is also very handy, in fact both neenio & HOD won UKOPS seats in the Elim FR promo. Hod also has a lovely ROI - ~40% - & has won a few Mains, but he has already won a UKOPS, & this was his 2nd UKOPS runner-up. Was 4th in UKOPS 05 too, so he's in 2nd place in the Day 1 Leaderboard.

@Dewi-cool, my very elderly Welsh friend & APAT stalwart, was 3rd. He won a UKOPS Main back in 2015 for some £4,500.

@bettingben does well in FTT & some of the small stakes stuff, but he was in much deeper waters here so 4th was a great result.

The first High Roller of the series went to @BBORU7 and it was his biggest ever Sky Poker win in his 3 or 4 years here. Decent CV though which includes wins in BWBH & Summit. Not his first UKOPS win, he won a UKOPS Mini a while back.

In 2nd was @ozzieowen who was no doubt pleasantly surprised at one stage to find himself with quads and a player jamming all-in. MBN.

Serious big-hitter @jordz16 was 3rd. This man has gamble & some, & has any number of 4 figure cashes here, including about 7 over £4,000. That's nothing compared to his Sports Betting wins though, as anyone who follows him on Twitter knows. We are talking BIG wins.

We had a WSOP Bracelet winner in 5th, @f3nix35, with @stack_u, who was with us in Vegas this year, in 6th.

@Shrimpy28, who won £1,650 worth of UKOPS entries via Elim Fr, was 14th for a very handsome £581.25, all of which was clear profit as he was in for free.

And so to the Day 1 Main, & it was 2022 SPT Las Vegas Champ @roddy28 who took the honours. No surprise there.

Was a very tough FT indeed, with some serious big hitters, including the winner, @Sharki0 @Natnug @ChipDiddy0 & @Limp2Lose who is the son of @StayOrGo, but special mention goes to @thedazzman in 3rd. Oddly enough, this time last year he was 5th in a UKOPS High Roller, so on his rare excursions with the Big Boys he does very well, especially considering his ABI is only ~£7.

3 weeks ago @PAPABURG, who has only been with Sky Poker 18 months, enjoyed his best ever score when 3rd in the Major for £1,143, but he beat that last night - just - by taking down the Mini for a PB.

And it was a similar story for runner-up @Jeni82, this was their best ever Sky Poker result, topping the £470 for winning the Turbo just prior to last Christmas.

@ILIKE2FISH had a cracking night, began by winning the UKOPS Main Event Freeroll, then ran 3rd in this, & followed up with 3rd in the UKOPS Mega. That put him 3rd in the UKOPS Leaderboard after Day 1, most impressive.

This will be very confusing for any of our readers who suffer from dyscalculia, with @235467 (not to be confused with @234567) 1st & @1267 2nd. This was not a PB for 235467 though, as he won the old Rebuy Open back in 2016 for ~£1,700.

@Tedson, who many might back to win the Leaderboard had a frustrating session, with UKOPS finishes of 7th in High Roller (won seat in a sat), 5th in Mega & 4th in Turbo. Won a seat in tonight's Main via a satellite too.
