After getting KOd of 4 or 5 tourneys and satellites across the evening, it occurred to that the same old names were appearing in all of them. So I did the player search and found many were playing a dozen or more at the same time, including the odd cash game for good measure. Now I may be getting on a bit but I do struggle to keep up if I have 3 or 4 tables open. So I am seeking reassurance from the Sky techy guys that these multi tablers arent using any sort of remote assistance, bots or other computer enhancement which would put the others at a disadvantage. TK may have seen these guys in action and may have a view? I would welcome such users to comment on how they concentrate on so many tables at the same time.
Thanks

Yes, difficult, but no, not impossible, far from it.
I used to comfortably manage 8 at a time, 10 occasionally, despite my advanced years, & I've seen many of these lads playing 20 with ease. It's just something they get used to.
There's no remote assistance involved beyond decent dexterity.
Search You Tube "Multi Tabling Poker", there's some extraordinary multi-tabling feats there.

The reason I mass table is because I believe playing as many tables as I can at once gives me the best hourly rate. The downside is I can't observe what my opponents are doing so have to just play a very default style and can't really adjust to individual players. I've been playing a high amount of tables for years so you gradually get to a point where you can play more and more comfortably. Also because I've played millions and millions of hands in 95%+ of hands a lot of decisions are very clear so it doesn't take as much thought as you'd think.
In terms of computer enhancements I do confess to playing with 3 monitors!
Congrats to SkyPoker btw, these UKOPS Series do seem to tickle everyones hopes and aspirations. Perhaps a case for more frequent big guarantees and/or more regular Series?
I suspect their concern might be going to the well too often. Do that & bankroll fatigue becomes a major issue. Personally, I think 3 or 4 times a year is about right. Have to say though, I love it when UKOPS comes around, there's a real buzz about the place.
However, it would also be true to say that, in the last 2-3 years, I think UKOPS has been happening less often than that. And, at times, it has looked a bit flat. I'm sure the various takeovers have been part of that.
The site always needs something to look forward to. It can be a UKOPS. It can be qualifiers for a live event, or a live event. But it always needs something either happening, about to happen, or qualifying for the next thing.
PS. You cannot play 10 £10 tables as well as 1 £100 one. But you can play to a standard better than the difference in fields between the 2. Hence the increased hourly.

I
'll have a look later.
I'll try not to, but it won't be today I'm afraid.
