November Challenge. 4 cards. Thoughts on this UKOPS PLO8 hand

Into November I have to add another challenge to help keep me motivated.

So PLO and PLO8 will be the focus. Challenge an overall ROI of 20%. Tournaments and sit and goes. At least 40 PLO8 and 20 PLO tournaments and 20 of each sit n goes.

Will play some SPT and UKOPS Sats too but they will not count towards the challenge.

Day 1 complete and a small profit.

Tough fields these with a lot of regulars who have some sort of idea what they are doing.

Just 3 of the 4 games ran and all with fields of around 15 entrants.
managed to take 1 down, despite being really under the kosh with 4 left and 3 paid. With 1 player sat out and having slightly more chips than them, found it difficult to make a move due to good play from the other 2 knowing than i was restricted if i wanted to cash.

Eventually with little over 3BB i had to make a move, fortunately faded a diamond after the flop and got lucky from that point on.

Challenge Day 2

PLO8 UKOPS Event 33 has created a hole in the accounting for this challenge at least i didn't need the rebuy. The first couple of levels could not have gone much better, great starting hands and hitting the flop to boot, level 3 onwards i may as well have been dealt no cards.

PLO 2 Games which included a 2nd (of 10) and a bubble 4th.

A hand today played against @NChanning i would love to hear both his thought process and that of others regarding the check back on the river.

I think i am priced in to see a flop and then hit a nut flush draw.

I think i am betting here 100% when checked to, though we do not have the nuts. Still so much to learn.

Guess that is why he is a sponsored player and i just dream..........

I was half watching TV and reading something on Twitter...a good chance I didn't give it much thought. I love PLO8 but it was probably the first time I'd played it since this tournament last year.

Why is there no PLO league?????

Cant see me playing any more before Monday perhaps sneek in the UKOPS PLO an Saturday.
