Who won what, UKOPS Day 5, Tuesday November 1st. A balder0y1 double, & Crushy heads the L'board

Day 5 is complete, that's 32 events, so we are exactly half way in the 10 day 64 event series. All 32 events so far have covered guarantee, though as the days wear on enthusiasm generally wanes & bankroll fatigue makes it's entrance. It's been a good series whatever happens, & the buzz is still there, players seem to be enjoying it, though few would admit it.

Last night's Mini was an £11 Turbo Rebuy BH & it came in at over £5,000. On a Wednesday. Compare that with the regular Sunday night £11 Mini Major which struggles to make £1,500. 15 to 20 years ago we only had vanilla freezeouts, now we have all these fancy-dan formats. Poker has changed so much, some for the better, some not so much.

The evening began with a win for @balder0y1 who has a very decent CV, including wins in £6kBH, Mega, 7 @ 7 etc. Also played last night's regular (non UKOPS) Mega & finished 3rd. And it was only the first of TWO UKOPS wins for him last night.

Runner-up was the male half of Sky Poker's Royal family - or is that Royle Family? - @bromley04 aka Adam Bromley. Adam & Natalie have missed the last few SPT's & I don't think we've seen them since pre-COVID, so I'm hoping they make the SPT later this month.

In 3rd was @newdaddy, only his 2nd cash of the series, which is surprising.

@Wacko90 missed Days 1 - 3 & only played a short schedule on Day 4 but he got up to speed last night, 4th here, 5th in 32 & a deep run into 9th in the Main. He's been AWOL almost all of 2022, just a few games in January & has not played much here since this time last year.

Crushy was 5th on what turned out to be a bumper night for him, as we shall see.

@PAPABURG (6th) has been very consistent with 3 FT's including a win - 1st in 04, 4th in 15 & 6th in 27.

This was the night's Main, & it went to the seemingly much improved @sandhu05 who had a quite splendid October, binking amongst others 2 Turbos, 2 Sheriffs, 2 MidEx's & a Quickdraw. Usually does his best work in late night stuff as you will gather but got started early last night.

@TONY509 played just 3 UKOPS last night, but 3rd here ensured a very healthy profit indeed.

Burger Bloke @Kahuna96 has a Whopper of a record in this Series, with deep runs in 3 £100 Mains on alternate nights - 8th on Friday for ~£450, 9th on Sunday for ~£495, & 4th last night for £1,128. Great stuff considering his ABI is less than a tenner.

What a surprise to see this make so much money, £5,310 for a Wednesday night Mini, go figure.

And we have the first of two doubles last night, as @balder0y1, having already won the opener, took the Mini as well. I know very little about him, except that he seems to have been here 12 years or so.

2nd, in the only UKOPS he played last night was @PJS75. Won Mini Avenger a fortnight ago, & has taken Reload several times.

Making his first FT of this series in 6th was @craigcu12 who professes that he is not as good in Bounty Hunters, though you never know, he may change his mind., it has been known.

@seikus was 2nd, & made 3 FT's last night, 3rd in 29, 2nd in 30, 4th in 32, and he also won Sunday's UKOPS 18 & was 5th in 20, so that's 5 FT's now. Has anyone made more than 5 Finals yet?

@1267 was 4th with @fishhhhh 5th.
