Cooling off period

I realise that you can set your account to inactive for a 24hr period, but would it be possible to allow shorter times too like 12hrs?

i have a horrible habit of playing when i come in after drinking and loosing big, but i dont want to make my account inactive for 24hrs but 12 would be fine.

Any chance?

Can we extend the cooling off period to the forum as well, so that I can ban myself from it?

Yes i had suggested that, a variation of cooling off times would be very good.  I really hope they can implement this.

    Hi Geezer,

I know there have been some recent changes to the account area (this may include certain aspects of self exclusion) I'll chase one of the guys who works on this and see if i can get him to post an update.

    All the best,

    Rich

On the current setup, go to My Account (top left), then click the 'Gambling Safely' tab and after that 'Stop Betting'. In there you have a couple of options - self exclusion and cooling off period.

    Hi GeezerJT,

This is a fairly big decision in terms of responsible gasmbling so it has to go through all the relevant avenues (including Alderney Gambling Control.) It may take a bit of time I am afraid but as soon as we have the info we will let you know.

    Thanks,
    Jordan

Thankyou Jordan.  But it is being considerd then?

It would certainly stop me from playing when drunk if i could just exclude for 12 hrs.
