On Tuesday, the late night trio of Turbo, Quickdrw & MidEx missed guarantees by a combined £800, Last night they beat guarantee by ~£800. Go figure. Variance is not something exclusive to poker players, the sites suffer - & gain - from it too.

Not the most exciting of write-ups today but I suspect you think that most days. It's the hope that keeps us going, right?

In the Main, @PAPABURG won to continue his fine recent form. He won a UKOPS Mini for good money & was 4th in a UKOPS HR for some £1,500, which was a PB. In 2nd was @waspy77 following up his 6th in Monday's equivalent. @Swog was 3rd, with @Shrimpy28 4th. Shrimps later ran 6th in Turbo. He has his own way of playing & it works well for him. Hopefully he won't ever follow the trend & invest in coaching, which would be a waste of money for him as it is for many others. @Mohican, who pocketed an obscene amount of money when he made the FT of a Sky Poker UKPC some years ago, was 6th.

The Mini was taken down by @carla0703 who has been here 2 years but only played 83 games.

There was a proper dust-up in Sheriff, with @Natnug prevailing over the likes of Mean Machine, @podraic & @skyflyer. @Natnug later won his 2nd seat to SPT Manchester, which starts a week today.

@Kahuna96 won Turbo just 6 days after winning the much more valuable UKOPS version. He's vey much on the upgrade.

There was another Big Boys bash-up in Quickdraw, with @TIMBER coming out best ahead of @heddoh18 @StayOrGo @GSmith13 & @skyflyer, a FT which was maybe the night's toughest. We'll see a few of those at SPT Manchester I imagine, especially @TIMBER who I shall fail to recognize as always.

Shout-out to @wynne1938 who when most 84 year olds should be safely tucked up in bed, was rocking & rolling his way to 2nd in MidEx.
