Did they inherit it or just buy it in that state?

If they inherited it they may not have the money to renovate?

Will the LA lend them the money to renovate?

If not why are they taking legal action in such a case?

The owners of the property were initially warned to take action in March after the state of the home deteriorated over the last two years.

Councillor Lydia Hyde, who also represents St Laurence ward, added: “We’ve been working on this for quite some time now, and we have tried to engage with the property owner with little to no response.

If you take the roof off you don't pay Council tax while empty.

Would you like to live next door?

    Short Answer... Yes

Detached Home by the sea / I live Terraced Two up Two down

Not found out why it's like that but sure there's a reason.

Could guess at; Lock Down. Money. Builder problems. Family issues. Buy to Let.

    Would I move ... No

Because I have great Neighbours and they will eventually. fwiw
