Decent traffic last night, though worth noting it's likely to be quiet tonight with Liverpool v Everton on TV.

We saw a sensational result in the Major where the winner was @TNO. Until last night, he had played 19 MTT's this month, of which 16 were Freerolls, as he plays the Rewards Freeroll & Sunday Major Freeroll almost nightly, and nothing else, earning his points on the DYM tables. In fact he won his Major seat in the Sunday Major Freeroll on Thursday. Has been here 14 years, & played 11,000 games, of which 3,700 were MTT's. A deep dive into the archives tells us he was very handy back in the day, with his biggest previous cash being 3rd in a 2013 £10k UKOPS for around £2,000. In 2012 he won a £5,000 Rebuy Open, followed a few months later by top spot in a £10k BH. For sure, the bulk of his winning form in MTT's was between 2009 & 2013. And it was not as if it was a soft FT last night, as he was followed home by @seikus @AlexaAJ @SoLack & @jordz16 who all know the time of day. Fabulous result, well done @TNO.

The trend of old school winners continued in the Mini, where victory went to @wynne1938 who is, I believe, 85 years old. Imagine that, old school rules in both Major & Mini. Back in the day charts, GTO, blockers & all that nonsense had not been heard of, & people played the game by instinct, gut feel & "reads", not by what some chart told them. 2nd in the Mini was @StayOrGo who then went on to win Sheriff to complete a solid week. @seikus was 6th, & as he was 2nd in the Major, picked up a £200 FTJ Bonus.

We have barely seen big-hitter @newdaddy this month but he showed up last night & took down the £5k BH from what was a decent FT with the obvious exception of @Shrimpy28. To be fair to the Big Fella, he made 3 FT's last night - 4th in the £5k BH, 6th in 7 @ 7 & 4th in 9 @ 9. The miracles of variance, right there.

6 of the last 8 MTT's that @craftycarp has played were Freerolls, but he invested £5.50 in the £1k BH & got the lot with an impressive 22 head prizes. @Asho28 was freerolling the Main & Mini & they came to nothing, but even so he had a very good night, 3rd in this, 4th in the Rebuy BH, plus a brace of wins in £300 & £150 BH's.

@neenio won 7 @ 7 for the 2nd time in 5 nights & was 5th in 9 @ 9 which he has also won this month.

@letemspin- won the 9 @ 9 at the end of January & has barely been seen since but he showed up last night & promptly won it again.

@bossquaid took the MidEx, I've lost count of how many times he's won that but I'm sure he's into double figures.

There's an argument for saying that last night's toughest FT was Quickdraw, & it was @Dooobs who prevailed from a purler of a FT packed full of big-hitters.

Finally, in the SPT Semi, seats went to @Essexphil & @mumsie, which I was delighted to see as they are both so important to our Forum. These sats only started on Friday, & @Essexphil has already won 2 (Friday & Sunday), & he never played on Saturday.
