An eye-popping result in the Major, as @paddie1985 springs a huge surprise. It's taken him just over 2 months to play his last 8 MTT's, & the first 7 of them were all Sunday Major Freerolls, the 8th being last night's Major. He binked the seat in Friday's freeroll & emerged as last night's winner from the typically strong field. Of his 4,000 games here, 1,000 were MTT's with an ABI of £2.10, & the balance were SNG's with an ABI of £0.83, though he's not been seen on the DYM tables since October 2021 when he was playing £0.25 Turbo DYM's. Has placed in the Major before too. Extraordinary. Congrats paddie. In fact the 2nd & 6th also both won their seats in Sunday Major Freeroll, Monday for @f1sheroo & Tuesday for @bigdoobi30, so 3 of the top 6 won their seats in the Sunday Major Freeroll.

The Mini version went to @catsnap who is much better known for being a bit of a whizz at the PLO8 tables, & who does especially well in the nightly 19.18 PLO8 game. 3rd was @Summers119, @Allan23 (who won Saturday's 9 @ 9) was 4th, & the mysterious newbie @mysteryreg who is cashing left right & centre was 6th.

In the £5k BH, @seikus looked to have it wrapped up with half the field gone, with a chip stack double that of 2nd, but faded late to finish 9th, with Sky Poker veteran @scotty77 finishing strongly to take it down. Pointy elbowed @HAYSIE was 5th, @JACKDAW an excellent 7th, & there was another surprise as @NOSTRI nitted into 8th place despite being woefully out of his depth at these stakes.

@aynaricol made her streaming debut last night & celebrated by winning the Rebuy BH. I almost never watch Poker Streams because poker players bleating & whining about how unfair it is when they lose (but not even noticing when they get lucky) do my head in, but I watched a bit of this & it was exactly as I thought it would be as she generally stayed calm, win or lose, rolled with the punches, & took her beats like a proper grown-up. It's one of life's great mysteries why recreational poker players get so bent out of shape by a game they are (supposedly) playing for fun. I would definitely recommend watching any future streams she may do. She made a monsta fold with A-K too after someone jammed in front of her.

The 7 @ 7 went to @Arrogant with the £1k BH going the way of @goldnballz for the 5th or 6th time.

Mean Machine @GSmith13 had a quite remarkable session. Won Reload, won a satellite to the Major, 2nd in Mega, 3rd in MidEx, 4th in Quickdraw, 4th in a £500 BH, 5th in Turbo & 8th in Major. Phew.

@bossquaid who has won 7 @ 7 plenty of times broke his duck in the 9 @ 9 by fending off @jas69 for the top spot, & @Morris707 motored to the win in Mega.

The SPT semi had it's biggest field yet with 20 runners, meaning 4 seats, which went to @BRADERS11 @ripple @ruane05 & @Scratchy26.
