I probably have, but hopefully I've never been as big a tool as Persson. He can push players around in low level stuff but he was SO out of his depth in that game the other night.

I felt bad for him when he called for a Q or 9, not realising he was drawing dead.
Clearly he's a tool, but I actually like a bit of spice and personality at the table. TV games with just regs in hoodies are dull. They need Tony G, Phil H or others to make it interesting to watch.

That was the best part. And I don't feel sorry for him at all, he belittles his opponents repeatedly.
It is interesting that some folks like the Tony G sorts, while others despise him. Guess we are all different.

I've met Tony G. Seemed a thoroughly nice guy. However, some of the stuff he has done at the poker tables is pretty poor.
Amazing how that much money can get in the middle on a paired board with the best either can realistically do is hit their flush (I know PA can hit a better FH with another ace), there must of been a second or two when Perrson called that PA thought 'oh no, he must have pocket 8s'. Must have been lovely to see he was drawing dead.
I wouldn't like any of the difficult personalities at my table, but I like the theatre they bring to TV performances. That said, you can be good to watch without being aggro. A lot of the pros on the old Pokerstars Big Game were like that.
I do like to see some shithousery in televised sport as well. Sport isn't life or death and needs some pantomime villains. Maybe it's that will to win by any means that i like...Or I need to take a good look at myself into why....

Ahh yes, now I agree with that. When there's a bit of handbaggery at at televised football match & the commentator sternly says "we don't want to see that sort of thing in football" I sit there & do the pantomime thing - OH YES WE DO.
It always amazes me that footballers run 40 metres to push and shove and act real tough and the commentators refer to it as a mass brawl or a melee when in reality it's all just posturing.
When rugby players run that far to get involved they usually have the decency to throw hands when they get there and the commentators refer to it as getting a little spicy when in reality noses, teeth and jaws are getting rearranged.
