I find Priti Patel's views on pretty much everything incompatible with a British sense of fair play & justice.

In my dreams, she would be deported. However, I have no doubt my arguments would not stand up in Court.

Where we differ is that I don't try and blame people for not agreeing with me, or attack the legal system that she has not been stripped of British citizenship and deported.

Because I am better than that.

She is neck and neck with Suella Braverman, and Mark Francois, in the battle to become my least favourite politician.
I would deny criticising others for not agreeing with me, in fact if I was actively doing this, I would have no time for doing anything else.
Although I do remember saying the other day that I thought you had missed the point on something, but only because I thought you had.

As far as our legal system is concerned, I am sure its perfect, except for,
    Barristers going on strike.
    More courts closing.
Cases being adjourned through a shortage of judges.
The backlog of cases is still growing, despite the fact that they initially blamed covid for the backlog.
Police detection rates seem to be getting worse.
    etc etc.

I watched Andrew Neill the other day, and he had a much longer list that he was using to batter Dominic Raab.

Demonic Raab should be battered, preferably on an hourly basis and with a very poo laden stick.

This time you have definitely misunderstood what I was trying to say.

When I said "where we differ" I was comparing and contrasting my views with Priti Patel. Not you.

I certainly don't think our legal system is perfect. But I do have considerable experience of both winning, and losing, cases. I have lost cases for a whole variety of reasons. Sometimes my Client, or their case, was not as good as I thought. I'm equally sure sometimes my Clients thought the same about me. But (unlike Priti Patel) I never believed my losing was the fault of the other side.

Ok, sorry I misunderstood what you were saying.
