Dover ferry passengers warned of long delays as coaches queue up

Gone are the days when we could roll up at Dover without all the lengthy Border Control processes now required by the French Customs folk.

Just another part of the bill we must pay for Brexit.

Thousands of people have been left stranded in an enormous traffic jam for over 12 hours at the Port of Dover, due to bad weather and French border control hold-ups. Among them are holiday makers and coachloads of children heading for school trips, waiting in the prolonged delay as vehicles slowly filter past the checkpoints. Coach driver Robert Kordula, with a party of 48 children from Swansea, shared that some of them were 'not doing very well' after not eating a substantial meal for over 15 hours.

Surely if there are delays entering France,then there's gotta be delays in France while our Border Force perform the same checks for entering this country ?
