And then I discovered this vid, which was from a Rock N Roll Hall of Fame thing.
It's the wonderful George Harrison composed "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" which is a track which has been covered so many times, so many ways & by so many people.
But here's the thing. In this version, there's a guitar solo by Prince which I can't stop watching. And I keep wondering - is that REAL, or is there some trickery involved. Is he REALLY playing that guitar?
I'm sort of kicking myself now for ignoring his stuff all those years. The only track of his I recall was one with Sheana Easton, who had a big hit of her own at the time iirc.

the king, is amazing....took me a long time to listen to him, but when i did I was blown away.........if u aint watched the elvis movie, you should.....very good.....takes a while to get used to tom hanks tho

Have had the very distinct pleasure of seeing Prince live (twice) and he blew my mind both times. He really was (may he R.I.P) THAT good
