This is for @Tikay10, we went to the playing of this album at Dynamic earth in Edinburgh (like a big planatarium) with the kids years ago (ok I dragged them along ) they projected things onto the big screen above us and I've never so been spaced out without chemicals in my life, it was epic. https://youtu.be/lt-udg9zQSE
100% agree that "A Forest" is probably the best ever Cure track.
"Welcome to the Machine" (Floyd) - well I'm not convinced it's Floyd's best, but that's a very high bar indeed.
And yes, what a terrific thread this has become.
And fair play to @green_beer who puts up such an annoyingly mixed selection of stuff, some of which is of no interest to me, but there's no bad in music, just different opinions.*
* The exception to the rule - anything by Bruce Springstein. Anyone putting his stuff up deserves a ban.
Here's "Patience" again, together with "Can't Put Your Arms around a Memory" which formed part of the backing music to Duff's excellent "It's So Easy & Other Lies" performance.

One of the best GNR tracks, "Patience"

8 minutes of musical bliss here.
