I was suddenly reminded of M People yesterday, or more correctly their wonderful lead singer Heather Small. What a voice she has. (She's still touring as a solo artist).

when those songs were in the charts, i was a kid, i remember hating them back then, funny how your music taste changes as you get older and start appreciating people and things that you once thought were so uncool.
here is another song that i hated but now think is great
My son saw 'The Chats' at the Barrowlands earlier this year, said they were great
Nice, you need to get your laddie on here posting! i have not listened to much of them, but i do love that track, I work with my auld man and I sing it too him when he moans at me for slacking off cause ive been up all night playing poker haha.
Quick bit of trivia about Chicken Shack and that tremendous song.
The lead singer was Christine Perfect. She left the band shortly after that, as she was getting married-to John McVie from Fleetwood Mac. At the time, she thought she was retiring from the music business-Fleetwood Mac changed her mind about that.
