I know that everything in Texas is super-sized, but 18,000 cows in a barn, or, more correctly I presume, a series of barns?

Not sure I can believe that. 1,800 maybe, but 18,000 does not compute. What acreage is required to house 18,000 cows? Must be a huge area.

I would guess that it was smoke inhalation that killed most of them.
