This is where I draw the line (serious post for once)

So as some of you may or may not know my girlfriend had been out the country recently. she came back yesterday and I had gone to the airport to pick her up. I recently had been to the barbers and a few people had pointed out I was looking very much like a Muslim.

It seemed airport security agreed with this. When waiting for my girlfriend I got accosted by two security staff, who proper interrogated me asking me why I was at the airport, I told them they had to proper ID me Ask for my address they asked for my girlfriends flight details which I gave them The flight number and all, they asked for the itenery I said the flight number and when it was scheduled to land what the **** else do they need. They asked to see evidence of my coach ticket up there. They asked to see evidence of the coach ticket back to which I replied had not bought as flights can be delayed and waiting to book that when my girlfriend comes out.

They demanded to see my texts on my phone, now I am no lawyer but I am fairly confident I could have refused that request but I kind of felt I had no choice but to comply because the alternative would likely be shot or best case scenario in handcuffs and locked up.

They mentioned as a point of intimidation I assume, exactly where I had been and what I had been doing at all times. Making it clear that they had me clocked from the moment I got there.
I had done such outrageous unforgiveable things like having a coffee, going to the toilet and browsing one or two shops to see what food items they had, that I could potentially buy for snacks on the way back.

This was clearly ethnic profiling and there was no need for this to continue once they had verified why I was there other then to make me feel uneasy and have a power trip.

If this is what Muslims are subjected to at the airport every time it is kind of unacceptable.
