tables dont pop open

Hello,

Is there a reason why the tables sometimes don't pop open on Sky Poker?

Doesn't matter if I am using the download client or the browser, whether that be chrome or any thing else; I can register to a game, go on the internet and the game won't pop, it will only pop if I go back to the lobby specifically.

Computer is brand new, other sites work totally fine.

Obviously this is extremely tilting - if it happens on a heads up game, often I can start with a load of chips that have been robbed. It's very shoddy.

Tbh, the software in general is absolutely shocking here, will it ever be improved?

I don't really know the answer to that, sorry. I see you have been playing a lot of DYM's today - DYM traffic is very high at the moment due to Streak Week & I've not seen any other recent complaints, even from very high volume players, so I assume most players have found a work-around. I'll see if I can find what it is & if I can, get back to you.

I'm not party to when or if the software will be improved I'm afraid.

On a (sort of) related note...a new and unimproved feature appears to be when tables rebalance and instead of finding yourself at your new table, you're presented with a table of six players, none of whom are you.

So you have to go back to the lobby, click through the list of tables to find where you're now sat and click to open that.

A little less than optimal.

It's really unreliable. I've lost several DYM having a late or no notification. Most times, the pop up does not happen, and the browser window states a pop up blocker. if that was true, why does it work sometimes?

The sit&go DYM does not refresh, or is very intermittant - you have to manually refresh the page. I've often missed the first round waiting for the launch option.

There is no download option for tables or hands.

The skycasino/skyvegas does allow a history which you can copy and spend a few hours reformatting.

Tables history only goes back a few days.

Hand history is just blank.

I cannot download sky poker to my new computer so have to use the browser version which does not pop up when tournaments start consequently find myself chips down before I start which is unfair and needs serious attention

I use the browser, used it for years.

To make sure my tables pop open I have to be logged in through the browser (obviously) , but that browser window tab , where i am logged in, needs to be clicked so that its at the front , once my table pops into play, its not important where that logged in tab is now, unless I am opening another table, then I need to have that sky poker tab clicked to the front, to make it active, then the 2nd table will open, this is the case with any new table, if I accidently close this tab then any new tables may not open, of if i get moved, the new table may not open, so my 'fix' is to always have the tab where I can reach it, so i can click on it should i need to check all my tables are open.

Hope this helps and Ive explained it clear enough.

There is a post on how to get the download working, when i find it, ill tag you in it in the other thread you started.


For example, when playing through the browser, if i have a table I need to play on, i just click on the sky poker tab in the picture below, then the table will open itself up, if I keep that tab to the front, i.e. its active, then my tables will always open through the browser.
