Have just watched the first two episodes of this four part documentary and some of the real time footage is shocking. I can't imagine what it must've been like for the people caught up in this attack, It's currently being shown on BBC2.

Just watched the final two episodes it's a very good documentary. The body cam footage is unreal as the SWAT officers storm the hotel room and to see what they go through in a situation like this. Finding 24 locked & loaded assault rifles in the room, a SWAT officer whose son is caught up in the shooting, hospital's running out of Morphine so life saving operations had to be performed without it, the personal stories that tug at the heart strings & then the investigation as to who and why this event happened, then the usual debate about gun laws in America. At the end 869 were wounded and 58 people were killed. It's definitely worth a watch.

Yes, I binge watched it on I-Player, very good indeed. Think they overdid the interviews with the wounded survivors (the lady who was shot in the mouth, for example) but overall, very compelling watching.

The scenes of storming the hotel room, shot via bodycams, were superb.

I think the video shots that disturbed me (after we knew what happened) were the gun man taking all his weapons in to the hotel helped by the hotel staff.

Yup, a missed opportunity there, a lone man with all those suitcases, which will have been very heavy. He went into another Hotel first, too.

It's amazing the amount of and type of guns your allowed to buy in America, it was a really sad watch.
