So the first four people (each day) to get four of a kind in Hold-em,
That makes it to showdown, at any stakes, win entry to that weeks £94 Vegas semi.
Or the £20 quarter. Just something to make these tournaments actually run!

We could just submit the hand no. on twitter to make it easy to moderate.
Fun for the grinders, cheap for sky and open to all

isnt it no flop no drop for rake on sky? could players then form a coalition in ring games not to play any hands unless pocket pairs. If someone has pocket pair they type in chat I have pocket pair and limp and the bb checks down to river to give them the chance for quads?

if the bb has pocket pair he types in chat I have pp and sb limps or they could have their own whatsapp chat group for this to avoid the public chat.

they could do this until they all get free entry at 1 cent 2 cent nl. and sky would lose out as mass groups did this. Sure the tourny might run but it would likely have 200/300 runners at this point and sky poker would be out a lot.

I mean I wouldnt do this sort of thing its kind of grimey and arguably cheating but many people could do this exploit and it obvious.

The tournement may even run with over 500 runners.

that would be at a cost of over £45000 to sky poker I mean nice idea in theory but you know def a promo that could be abused.

Could have the 6pm Freeroll awarding Sunday Major Seat to the winner and 2 seats to the VEGA$ Semi Final on the Sunday for the next two weeks ........ or A seat to the Sunday major for 1st, Semi-Final seat for 2nd, and 5 seats to that Sunday's quarter for 3rd - 7th.

I guess it could be abused double, so could any tourney if you conspire.

I doubt it would happen in reality, and even if they did as you describe,
their chances of winning would still be very small.
Hardly worth the effort of cheating!

You would likely crash the servers because everybody would open as many tables as possible at the lowest stakes.

there is a 1 in 122 chance of getting quads by the river with a pocket pair. you are dealt a pocket pair 1 in 17 times so, 17*122=2074.

so hypothetically if you did this it would take on average 2074 hands to get the quads. sky poker doesnt list how many hands per 100 but looking at stars I can see six handed cash tables with 150 hands per hour. that may seem like a it would take a while eg 2074/150=13.8 hours. However if they went for the exploit it would be many more hands.

However in truth people could just mass multi table micro stakes for this. as Kapo points out. If they did this promo I wouldnt bother doing the cheating grimey thing I would just load up 10 tables of 4NL. if we say 120 hands an hour per table to be prudent this would mean 1200 hands an hour. 2074/1200= 1.72 hours or 1 hour and 43 minutes. £94 for a little under 2 hours work. not a bad return.

I wont factor in an edge I have £4 NL I am pretty sure I likely would have an edge under normal circumstances but if they ran this promo there would be probably be a lot of regs targeting this, So I would assume I would actually run out losing in the games but at £4 NL I cant really lose enough to make this not worthwhile.
