Fortunately though the alien visitors have their own systems of laws and rules, and we could in the event of an invasion seek legal action which would be our best chance.
in effect if the **** hits the fan we don't need weapons we need lawyers/philosophers.
However they would have likely logically justified our extermination within their laws if it had come to that so in effect all we would really be doing is buying time, not to launch some sort of super weapon that could save us all non exist nothing we have in that regard could do anything. More just buying slightly more time to exist thats it.
fortunately they likely do not have legal grounds to wipe us out yet because if they did We would no longer be here. Lets try to keep it that way.

Here's a thought-how about the Government banning pay rises/bonuses for Senior Officers of water companies unless and until there is:-
1. A clear plan, with real numbers, showing how waste of resources and emptying sewage into rivers is to be reduced; and
2. Evidence that that plan is being followed
See? That wasn't difficult. And Senior Officers can be relied on to look after themselves before even shareholders...
