A woman accused of tricking a teenage girl into sex by posing as a boy called George apologised after being confronted over her true identity and said she had 'never meant for it to get this far', a court heard today. Georgia Bilham, 21, told the alleged victim she had made 'a stupid mistake' and had 'wanted to end it' but 'just didn't know how', jurors were told. Asking her not to 'take it further', she wrote: 'I just got in too deep and I didn't know what to do.'

When you boil it down, it is a news provider getting readers by faux outrage while giving all the salacious details. Journalism at its two-faced best.
Is it really so different than man pretending he is a millionaire and single to persuade some young girl to sleep with him?
Amuses me to think that some young woman who enters into this sort of nonsense in order to have sex with another woman wishes to proclaim she "doesn't like girls".
While the other woman has her glasses removed. And then goes on to have sex on at least 9 separate occasions. Which rather suggests she is beyond even Specsavers' help..

The deception was only discovered when the woman’s mother became suspicious and told her daughter she did not believe her boyfriend was a man.
The court was told that the victim was short-sighted and whenever they were together the defendant would remove her glasses for much of the time, so she could not see Ms Bilham clearly.
Despite the relationship becoming sexual, the jury was told that when they spent the night together the defendant would keep her clothes on, even in bed.
The victim grew frustrated that the defendant showed an unwillingness to be touched intimately and often “gave excuses”.
The victim overheard officers refer to the name Georgia, but when she confronted her and asked about her true gender, she was told it was a fake driving licence.
As the victim’s suspicions grew, however, she asked the defendant to prove his identity.
But Ms Bilham claimed he did not have a passport and simply sent her selfie-style photographs of a young man with blonde hair and no top on.
Bilham is accused of tricking the short-sighted girl by taking away her glasses, keeping her own clothes on and hiding her long, blonde hair under her hood during their sexual encounters.
The alleged victim, who at the time was in her late teens, told the jury yesterday that while she had never seen ‘George’s’ pe nis, she felt what she described as ‘a willy-like figure’ against her leg on two occasions.
‘George’ told her he was too afraid to take off his top or even lower the hood because he was working for an Albanian criminal gang.
Later the alleged victim found a bank card under the name ‘Georgia Bilham’, jurors were told, but rather than suspect the truth she instead accused him of seeing someone called Georgia Bilham.
The pair began sleeping together at her home, with ‘George’ insisting on keeping his hood up at all times.
But while ‘George’ regularly performed sex acts on her, when she tried to lower ‘his’ Calvin Klein boxer shorts ‘he’ began shaking until she stopped, it was alleged.

After exchanging multiple messages, 'George' picked her up from work and took her for a drive, wearing a tracksuit and keeping his hood up the whole time, she said.
But Miss Hughes claims she did not get more than a 'glimpse' of 'his' face before 'George' pushed her away with his arm.
Asked if she believed him to be male or female at the time, she answered: 'Male.'
Weeks later, Miss Hughes was contacted 'out of the blue' by a teenage girl who was in a relationship with 'George' and wanted to know more about 'him'.
Giving evidence today at Chester Crown Court, Miss Hughes said she was contacted by someone called 'Brummie George' when she was around 16 years old.
She said 'George' told her his mother had died, that he was close to his 'nan' and had two dogs. The pair messaged 'quite a lot'.
In May 2021, she said 'George' arranged to pick her up from the McDonald's where she worked in Abergele, North Wales – the first and only time they met.
Collecting her in 'his' car – which she thought was a Ford – they drove to the Great Orme beauty spot near Llandudno, she said.
'He had his hood up the whole time,' she said.
'How much of his face could you see?' asked Anna Pope, prosecuting.
'None,' Miss Hughes answered.
'I caught a glimpse at one point but then my face got pushed away.'
She confirmed that 'George' had used his arm to push her away.
'Did you understand 'George' to be male or female?' Ms Pope asked.
'Male,' she replied.
Miss Hughes said she never heard from 'George' again.
Jurors heard that in her witness statement, she said the way 'George' behaved was 'strange' so she decided she 'didn't want to see him again'.
In July of that year she was contacted by the teenage girl who is Bilham's accuser in this trial.
She wanted to know more about 'George'.

In a message Georgia Bilham sent her mother on August 20, 2021 after the alleged victim confronted her over the true identity, she wrote that she would 'never go near a girl'
