Morning.
Considering we are just two weeks away from midsummer's day, numbers are holding up reasonably well, though Summit recorded a nasty miss. The poor weather has helped I guess. There's a big(gish) football match tonight, so it'll be interesting to see if that affects traffic.
@mackarel21 took the Main, the third time he's done so in 8 months. Remarkably, the previous two were both Avengers which he won in successive weeks, a very rare feat indeed.
In 250 games here, @loobylou20 had just a single win - 7 @ 7 two years ago- but that all changed last night as they took the Mini for a PB.
The gnarly veteran @SoLack took the Summit for the 2nd time, and some consolation there as he was an unlucky third in last week's renewal. A ton of big results on his CV, including 4 wins in the Major & it's predecessor, the Super Roller. Runner-up was @NChanning who was getting rave reviews on Twitter & elsewhere yesterday for a wonderful article had had published in the Sporting Life. What article? I thought you'd never ask. @STEVE5516 does very well at lower stakes & added 7 @ 7 to his resume last night. Won a Reload last Spring. Has been here a very long time & used to be a regular contributor to the TV Show threads.
@Drumcrow took the £1k Rebuy BH just two weeks since winning the non-rebuy version.
9 @ 9 was taken by @EEEEEEE who maybe has a sticky keyboard. @Cammykaze was 2nd & @splashies 4th.

If racing faces a battle for its survival in the future it won't be the one that it fights against Animal Rising. It will be against the millions of people that have no real opinion on the subject, most of whom have never been racing and many of whom may have never seen a horse.
