Can't park there mate!: Bumbling driver's car rolls into the sea in Sandbanks after motorist got out to get an ice cream
A woman had parked her car on the slipway while waiting for the Sandbanks chain ferry in Poole, Dorset. As she ran away to get an ice cream, the car rolled away into the water. The chain ferry - that has signs telling motorists to apply their handbrakes - had just left the Sandbanks side when it happened. The service destined for Studland was later suspended due to the submerged car. After rolling into the harbour, the car was seen bobbing along in the water a few yards from the slipway, with the multi-million pound mansions of Sandbanks in the background.
